Support to Rehabilitate Orphans & Street Children in India: www.serudsindia.org
In our project area many Orphan and Street Children are found. The problem of orphan / street children is acute due to urbanization and industrialization. Due to the deaths of HIV / AIDS affected persons, Re-marriage of deserted / widowed / divorce women, absence of love and security, Unwanted pregnancy of Trafficking; these orphan and street children are left without care and support. In recent days, semi orphans are increasing. Due to family disputes, accidental deaths, illegal contacts etc many children are becoming parentless. Their grandparents, relatives are giving care and support due to various reasons. These orphan / semi orphans / street children are involved in rag picking, pit pocketing and participating in anti social, criminal activities. Therefore, we have been running orphanage with 40 orphans and street children by providing education, care and support. Make a difference in the life of orphans by donating money for SERUDS charity of orphans & street children. Give now for care & support of orphans and street children
Purpose of Donation Amount
1. 2 pairs of Uniforms (Rs.500 per pair) 1000
2. 6 Note books with pens & pencils at average cost of Rs.30 each 180
3. Food (breakfast Rs.7, lunch Rs.15, dinner Rs.15) for a year 13320
(37 per day x 30 days = Rs.1110 x 12 months)
4. Mattress Rs.100 and a blanket Rs.200 300
5. Slate & slate pencils 2Nos per year (Rs.40 per set) 80
6. Lunch Box – Rs.170, School Bag – Rs.200 and Shoes – Rs.300 670
